Tips for Bali- Indonesia Holiday- Part 2

If you wish to visit Bali- Indonesia, this post may help you to know more about it. Some of the experiences I had in Bali- Indonesia.

After I've blogged about Bali- Central region in previous post. This post will be continue with Bali- southern region. The Travel time from Legian to Tanah Lot approximately 45 minutes where the place famous with temple in the middle of the sea.

Tips- Avoid to exchange money at small stall, they will try to make you confuse and give you wrong figure.

Lunch time we had the famous dish in Bali- Babi Guling cost 6 SGD.

#7 Babi Guling- including bbq pork meat, fried pork skin, local vege and rice.

By the way, worth to try- 8/10

After that we continue the journey to Uluwatu and have to pay for the entrance fee.

Then we stayed in Jinbaran beach for the sunset. Best sunset viewing time is around 6pm to 6.30pm so dont missed it.

The next day, we decided to wander around the kuta street to hunt for some souvenirs.
Tips- Bargain skill is needed in when you wish to buy souvenirs from there.

Tips for Bali-Indonesia Holiday- Part 1

I just back from Bali- Indonesia 2 weeks ago and had a great time throughout 3 days 4 night annual company trip. It took 3 hours flight depart from Singapore- Changi Airport to Bali- Denpasar airport. Since my company covered air fare and accommodation for the trip, I just prepared 200SGD for the this trip and everything just nice (*cough* well planned)

My Itinerary for 3 days 4 nights:

Arrived Bali on 14 March-9.30pm

15 March- Day trip to Bali Central region

16 March- Day trip to Bali Southern region

17 March- Free & Easy at Kuta Beach. Departed to SG.

The hotel I stayed called Legian Paradiso Hotel which located at Central Kuta-Bali, 10mins walking distance to Kuta Beach, Sky Garden (happening night life place in Kuta city).

Tips 1: The hotel rate is quite reasonable and can get more discount rate from www.agoda.com .

The hotel provides free wifi services and you can stay connected with your friends. If you are staying here, grab a chance to try japanese sashimi at 福太郎 located beside the hotel.

The sashimi really fresh with reasonable price.

Overall is good and I would rate 7/10

Tips 2: If you first time been to Bali and wish to visit most of the interest places, minimum you need 2 days.
Day 1 :for Bali Central region- Ubud, Kintamani, Besakih and more
Day 2 for Bali Southern region- Tanah Lot, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua

Tips 3: Find and get a tour packages in advance before travel to Bali. It much more cheaper than you get at Bali Airport.

First interest place- Pura Tirtha Empul located at Ubud and was built on 926 AD, entrance fees needed.

#10 Some believe that bath in rectangular pool fed by the spring for healing and spiritual merit.

Second Interest place- OKA kopi luwak plantation, halfway to Kintamani.

#15 Kucing Luwak- Civet. They have eaten the coffee beans, fermentation occurs in digestive tract and the coffee beans been collected from theirs excretion.

#16 Free tasting for various types of coffee and tea at OKA plantation except civet coffee. Coconut coffee, Ginseng coffee and etc.

Third interest place Kintamani- the active volcano of Mount Batur.

Tips 4: buffet lunch at Kintamani area quite costly and the food just satisfactory. Check with tour guide for more local Balinese food. It may require transport.
